The women growing in the 1960s probably are telling their granddaughters how they supported causes to give women the same rights as men, mostly those of equal employment. Feminism began developing rapidly in the 60s and women started organizing themselves and fighting for their rights. They explained how they were considered good workers and useful during ww2, but were suddenly shunned after the war as if they never proved themselves.
