The Jews were commanded to wear yellow badges in the form of a star (The Star of David). All Jews from the age of 6 and above must wear this badge or face punishment. Wearing of the badge enabled the Germans to immediately identify a person as a Jew. This easy identification of the Jews eventually led to the deportation and massacre of 6 million Jews.
