The revolutionary era from the perspective of underrepresented groups:

From 19 April 1775 to 3 September 1783 was considered to be a revolutionary era where minority groups like Native Americans started protecting their territory.

Underrepresented Minority can be defined as a group whose proportion of the population in a given group is lower than their proportion of the population in the country. The Afro American and Native Americans are considered underrepresented groups.

During the revolutionary era, this underrepresented group has taken sides to protect their territory. Native American sided with the British army to fight against the expansion of American settlement into their territory. Afro American was against the unequal treatment meted against them and fought for freedom from slavery.
