Despite being remembered for his military expeditions, Napoleon did not gain control of all of Europe. Which country was not able to fight off Napoleons army and became part of the empire?

    Napoleon is considered to be one of the greatest military leaders of all time. His reign started at the end of the revolution in France and created an atmosphere of terror. While he promised the ideals of the french revolution that is freedom, liberty etc, to protected, but his rule became despotic with time and took measure to have unprecedented power. While he was able to control most of Europe, but some nations did not fell under his sway one of which was the Netherlands.
