John Burgoyne of Great Britain. Battle of Saratoga was most vital leading to American Revolution as it won Good terms of France and Spain to join hands and wage war against Britain.

General Burgoyne is the British commander who marched from Champlain valley and other troops from east also joined from Lake Ontario. To his dismay, no troops joined from north and south which isolated him and he was forced to surrender. His surrender again paved way for two more battle with half of British army causalities.

General Washington observed the military movement of General Howe and he had sent one of his most fierce commanders Daniel Morgan but the British troops could not move forward and the plan of separating colonies from New England failed which added confidence to American colonists.
