    1. Catholics give pope authority over the churches and Protestants believe the pope has no authority of anyone.

    2. Traditional Catholics priests can not be married while Protestant priests can marry.

    3. In the past Catholic Church mass was done in Latin. In Protestant services everything was done in the people's native language to allow for everyone to understand and interpret the scripture in their own way
