Why weren't the Silk Roads kept open after the fall of the Roman Empire and Han Dynasty? A:The Mongol Empire captured almost all of Asia. B:The Chinese and Romans were the only cultures who had been using the Silk Roads. C:It was expensive to keep troops and forts along the roads to keep them safe. D:They were - the Silk Roads never closed.
