    The government often has to amend its law, repeal its law in some cases, enact appropriate legislation, clear the doubts, undertake policy briefings to quell any doubts / fear from the minds of these groups.

    Explanation:

    The fear of various groups on certain policies of the government leads to effective lobbying by the group in pursual of their core interest. These groups are termed as Pressure groups.

    They are common in a democratic political setup where government exist to heed to the needs of common people. These groups utilises effective propagandizing, lobbying, polls, research and policy briefings.

    The government often has to amend its law, enact appropriate legislation, to quell any doubts / fear from the minds of these groups.
