    African Americans feel the effects of the Depression and the complaints:

    The fall in the stock market of US caused the Great depression of 1929. almost half of the banks fail. all the businesses are shut down. Unemployment and arose exponentially. To recover from the great depression it took 25 years.

    The Great Depression had a great impact on the people. Lack of money during the great depression impacted their approach to money and food throughout their lives. So while the effects of the severe economic downturn were strong, they were also long-lasting.
