    Rivers Dan, Catawba flows from the blue ridge mountains to the Piedmont.

    Well Known Piedmont mountain include Pilot mountain and Hanging rock mountain. Which gives room for hiking, fishing and viewing of water falls.

    Piedmont has cities such as Charlotte which is the largest city in North Carolina, Durham also known as the 'City of Medicine' and some others.
