    Answer: Media, in its present form during absolutism, did not exist.

    Explanation:

    Absolute absolutist rulers had complete control of the state. Their public relations (it is impossible to talk about the media during this period) were almost non-existent. The ruler (for example, Louis XIV) was subject only to the laws he created himself, and at any moment he could change them.

    The public was outraged at the sheer form of the arbitrariness of the ruler. This will cause a revolution against King absolutism that will culminate in the late eighteenth century.
