    Yes, it is true that the computer sales was highly affected by the creation of internet.

    Explanation:

    Analytical Computer was first invented by Charles Babbage between 1833 and 1871. Before the introduction to internet in 1983, the personal computers was only used for words processing, database, playing simple games etc. After internet came, the whole meaning and motive of personal computer changed. You could surf any thing on internet, transfer and download files and other cool stuffs. This increased the craze on the personal computers and affected the sales rate drastically.
