In this text, the author discusses the connection between our modern lives and the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights was written in the early years of the country, and because of this, it reflects a lifestyle that no longer exists. In our modern times, we have pressures and concerns that could not have been predicted centuries ago. Because of all the changes that our society has been through, the author believes that the Supreme Court should reinterpret the Bill of Rights.

My best response would relate to the fact that the bill of rights was written during a different time period in a different society and it needs to be reinterpreted to fit the needs of our current society and century
