    Tutu described himself as a Socialist and rejected capitalism exploitative nature. He also compared the Apartheid with Nazi Germany.

    However, he was a deeply religious man, and the atheist nature of Marxism and Soviet Communism unsettled him.

    He also compared the way Soviet regimes treated their population with the Apartheid.
