The constitutions creation of a national government with separation of powers.

1.) prevents the national government from being controlled by one branch

2.) eliminates overlapping or repetitive government powers among the branches

3.) reduces government powers among all branches and gives them to the states

4.) replaces stronger branch powers with weaker powers and grants more power to voters.
