What was not a reason why the Dawes Act failed for the Native Americans? A) They did not know how to farm because farming was not a part of their tradition. B) The land that the government gave away was poor and Native Americans were unable to grow food on it. C) Native Americans did not need the land and set up government owned hotels, barbershops, and general stores. D) Few Native Americans wanted the land that was being given to them.

    Native Americans knew how to farm their lands as even those that traveled to hunt still relied on farming during times.
