The correct answer is - 4. More than 2.4 million people fled Syria.

During the refugee crisis in Syria caused by the military actions from abroad around 2.4 million people are estimated to have fled the country. Initially, most of those people went to Lebanon, but they started moving towards the most developed countries in Europe later on. Most of these refugees had their goals set on the countries like Germany, France, UK, Sweden, and the reason for that was that they are well developed countries that also have a very generous social system. This caused a lot of troubles across the continent as it is a very large mass of people coming suddenly, and the EU itself had a lot of internal problems because of the migration policies and trying to force the countries to accept refugees.
