It is April 1865. Robert E. Lee has just surrendered to General Ulysses S. Grant in Appomattox Courthouse, VA. As president, what would be your concerns at the end of the civil war? What would be your first priorities?

    As president I would be concerend about rebuilding the country physically from the war damage. I would start government programs to rebuild the parts of the south that got hit the hardest. I would also be concerned about reuniting the country from the civil war. The country would be very divided, and reuniting the country as one would be a top priority. I would make sure that the war wound would heal physically and socially.
