    I believe it's C because they wouldn't be able to do much without fertile land. The land made it possible for them to have resources to even transport.

    The annual flooding of the Nile refreshed the land. Without the annual flooding of the Nile there would not have been an abundance of food. Tye answer is C the Nile made the nearby lands fertile.
