    Some people in the North who are Carpetbaggerss, scalawags took advantage of the southerners by manipulating and decieving them.

    Many ports were also destroyed in the south, plantations were burned during the war, destruction of the land, homes, and cities also made reconstruction to be much more harder in the Southern part of The country. Also there was the Asasination of Abraham Lincoln.
