The correct answer is B) The government decided what goods and services would be produced and supplied to the market.

The statement that describes the command economy of the Soviet Union is the government decided what goods and services would be produced and supplied to the market.

In a command economy, a strong central government decides what to produce, how to produce, when to produce and at what prices. The Government has a total decision on the production system. Of course, the is no competition and the worker's salaries are low and with no economic incentives to produce more or better. It is the opposite of a market economy. That was the case of the command economy in the Soviet Union.
