How did Jackson approach the conflict of nationalism and regionalism?

-He sided with sectionalism in order to advance the interesting of states needs

- he sided with nationalism in order to expand land for manifest destiny

- he understood both states rights arguments of the West and need for National empowerment

- because he was known as the common man's President Jackson decided with sectionalism to appease those that put him in office
