    Explanation:

    The Lend-Lease Act was a program was designed by the United States in order to provide allied nations with aid to win World War II. This program benefitted the British Empire, China, the Soviet Union, France and other allies. After the United States entered the war, the program was the main way in which the country supplied military material to its allies. It provided weapons to belligerent powers of they paid for them up front and shipped them themselves. This program ended after the war against Japan was won.
