    The correct answers are:

    1. False

    2. False

    3. True

    4. True

The Soviets had a very tough time trying to invade Finland. Despite being far superior in numbers and weaponry, the Soviets actually suffered incredibly high losses, especially in the first battle. The Fins used the geography of their country to their advantage, as well as their skiing and shooting skills. The Soviets were under constant surprise attacks that were very efficient and quick, and not living them time to even react. Stalin got so angered that he sent very large portion of the military in the following battle, as well as lot of tanks. The Fins were not able to fight them off anymore, and surrendered, but still they were very proud that they made such big damage on the enemy and resisted it.
