Why did channon claim appeasement was the right policy? what, if any, evidence did he use to back this claim?

Henry Channon, a very familiar name, but other call him Chips Channon too. He was a concervative politician, author and a lot more. Even though the appeasement failed, channon still claimed that for him it was the right policy. And because of this, waned are his interests for the politics, so he just turned his attention to the brewery.
