How did the assembly line make production more efficient?

    First of all, people could specialise in smaller tasks, so they came better at them:before they would need to learn the whole process.

    Second, it is faster to perform the same action multiple times than to perform a new action every few minutes.

    As a result, the production was faster and often more precise.
