Why were colonist proud of Britain in 1763 besides the French and Indian War?

    The colonists were proud because they thought they were the dominating country in the country. Because back then, the British basically had good things going in the colonies. They were successful in creating towns and a way of handling things. The colonies basically were more stable than the rest of the European countries who were trying to claim territories, and were in a precarious position.
