Which of the following statements best describes the English Bill of Rights? It was the first document to argue that the king's power had limits. It was one of the first written rules for government in what became the United States. It listed the rights to which English citizens were entitled. It made an argument that the monarchy should be replaced by a republic.

    "It listed the rights to which English citizens were entitled" is the best option. Ironically this bill of rights was similar in a great many ways to the US Constitution, and in some ways inspired the American Revolution.
