During World War I, Great Britain promised that the Arab provinces of the Middle East would be independent after the war. made into a Jewish homeland. made into a large nation called Trans-Jordan. closed to Jewish immigration.

    Yes they did. But unfortunately, they were lying! They told the arabs if they join the war with them, they will give them arab countries. But instead, they took them!
