How might a wealthy roman view the growth of roman power differently from a slave

A wealthy roman was probably considering and thinking about the economics possibilities such expansion provided because he would be able to invest his money and gain even more power and capital through it, while a slave considered this to be only another way how the empire could gain more slaves.
