    False. Mein Kampf (My Struggles) was an autobiography written by Adolf Hitler that would later be a bestseller. It was edited by Rudolf Hess who was Hitler’s deputy. Hitler wrote the book while imprisoned for an attempted coup in Munich. It summarizes his political ideology and his vision of Germany. It was published in two volumes with the first in 1925 and the second in 1926. Elements of anti-Semitism and genocide are in the book as part of his plans for the reconstruction of Germany. It became very popular. When Hitler took power, its popularity increased.
