Explain the events that led to the treaty of versailles?

    Germany losing ww1 caused many damages in other countries and ruined many lands in Europe which then caused the British parliament to place the treaty of versailees which had so many harsh terms on germany and placed sole responsibility on germany. They had to repay back the allies 6 million pound for the damages they did which was a large bill

    The Treaty of Versailles was the peace settlement signed after World War One had ended in 1918 and in the shadow of the Russian Revolutionand other events in Russia. The treaty was signed at the vast Versailles Palace near Paris - hence its title - between Germany and the Allies
