Since war was never declared, the korean war is actually known as "The Forgotten War." It was war that was happening while World War II and Vietnam War were happening in history. This war started when North Korea's communist military attacked South Korea's non-communist government. The war has not actually ended because no peace treaties have been signed yet by both parties.
