    An increase in military spending is most likely caused by a war or multiple wars. Military spending is a budget that is allotted by a government to support and supply of the warfare especially when there is a war. They have this budget so that they can keep up with the demand on their defensive activities during the war.

It's a heavy period for every contry as it causes meny problems except high military spending. Other options also cause high military spending but not so high as D.
