How did televised debates impact JFKs Presidential run and election?

    People looked at them in comparison. Nixon had what was known as the "five o'clock" shave look. He looked tired and stressed. As with Kennedy, he looked fresh and clean-shaven. Many Americans thought that Kennedy had not only a better approach, but appearance as well.
