    He created an alliance, for he was I should say 'scared' of the enemy alliance that was formed, the Triple Entente. He wanted to make sure that the other countries around Germany was on their team, and he just wanted allies

    However, Italy would later break away from the Triple Alliance and join the Triple Entente
