Gun control is illogical. Change my mind

The biggest deflection of all has nothing to do with big scary black guns, military weapons or rates of fire.

We are talking about a civil right. Exactly like your freedoms of speech, religion, assembly, press, self-incrimination, search and seizure voting ... etc etc. It was written with the words "the people" on purpose, separating the "militia" in the preamble of the amendment by a comma. It's amazing how the second amendment is the only sentence in the constitution whose grammar is questioned. As well as it's application to modern weapons.
