Solve the problem. if a roof has a pitch of 5 to 11, how high will the roof rise over a 33-foot run?

    Pitch = rise/span = rise / (2 x run)

    5/11 = rise / (2 x 33) = rise / 66

    rise = 66 x 5/11 = 30 feet.
