    7x + 3y = - 1

    x + y = - 3 ... x = - 3 - y

    7 (-3-y) + 3y = - 1

    -21 + - 7y + 3y = - 1

    -4y = - 1 + 21

    -4y = 20

    y = 20/-4

    y = - 5

    x + y = - 3

    x - 5 = - 3

    x = - 3 + 5

    x = 2

    so ur 2 numbers are : 2 and - 5
