    The answer for this is not necessarily. Depending on what you're dividing the fraction by, the quotient could be larger or smaller than the original fraction.

    For example, if we have the fraction 1/2, and we divide it by 2. We would get 1/4, which is definitely smaller than 1/2.

    However, if we divide the same 1/2 by 1/2, we actually get the number 1, which is larger than our original fraction 1/2.
