    Bob = x

    Allen = 4x

    Jane = 2 (4x) = 8x

    4x + 8x = 432

    12x = 432

    x = 36

    Bob = x = 36

    Allen = 4x = 4 (36) = 144

    Jane = 8x = 8 (36) = 288

    Answer: Bob = 36, Allen = 144, Jane = 288
