One track coach wants her athletes to race 2 miles around a track to measure how fast each person can run? If the track is 2/3 of a mile around, then how many laps around the track will athletes have to run to complete the race?

    If you use cross multiplication and using 2/3 and 2/1, you would get 6/2, which is equal to 3.
