You are trying to answer a probability question that involves pulling colored blocks out of a bag. In order to do so you are going to use a simulation with a random digits table where the the different colored blocks have been assigned certain digits. The bag that contains 6 blue blocks, 12 orange blocks, and 2 yellow blocks, which assignment of digits for the events in the sample space is correct?

A) Let 0 - 3 represent blue blocks, 4 - 6 represent orange blocks, and 7 - 9 represent yellow blocks.

B) Let 1 - 6 represent blue blocks, 7 - 19 represent orange blocks and 20 represent yellow blocks. Ignore o and 21 - 99.

C) Let 0 - 2 inclusive represent blue blocks, let 3 - 8 inclusive represent orange blocks, and 9 represent yellow blocks.

D) Let 1 - 30 represent blue blocks, 31 - 60 represent orange blocks, and 61 - 90 represent yellow blocks. Ignore 0 and 91 - 99.

Given that t he bag that contains 6 blue blocks, 12 orange blocks, and 2 yellow blocks.

    The ratio of blue blocks to orange blocks to yellow oranges is 6 : 12 : 2 = 3 : 6 : 1

Thus, three digits is assigned to blue blocks, 6 digits to orange block and 1 digit to yellow blocks.

The assignment of digits for the events in the sample space that is correct is " Let 0 - 2 inclusive represent blue blocks, let 3 - 8 inclusive represent orange blocks, and 9 represent yellow blocks."
