A non-square rectangle has integer dimensions. the number of square units in its area is triple the number of units in its perimeter. what is the smallest possible length for the perimeter?

    Let w width and l length.

    3 (2 (l+w)) = lw

    6l+6w=lw

    6l=lw-6w

    w (l-6) = 6l

    w=6l / (l-6)

    the smallest perimeter = 2 (l + 6l / (l-6))
