    F (x) = 3/x + 2 - √x-3

All that f (7) means is that you replace x with the number 7 and solve.

    f (7) = 3/7 + 2 - √7-3

    f (7) = 3/7 + 2 - √4

    f (7) = 17/7 - √4

    f (7) = 3/7

3/7 in a decimal is 0.428571 which would round to 0.43

    The answer would be 0.43
