    4 dollars and 5 cents/4.5 or 4.50

    The answer is $5 because

    y = $

    x = pounds of coffee

    and the first part was 2 lbs / $4 making it a pound / $2

    so replace the x with 2.5

    leaving it 5 = 2 X 2.5
