divide total number by number of packages

    4315 / 40 = 107.875

it is not possible because it doesn't divide evenly

    4315 / 40 = 107 with 35 remainder

so Maria puts 107 pistachios in each of 40 packages with 35 left over.

So it's impossible that she can put all same number of pistachios in each package with no left over.
