    a. The fraction of the blueberries is 1/12

    b. 36 ounces

    c. 1/5 of the remaining blueberries is 6 ounces

    Step-by-step explanation:

    a. If 1/6 of the blueberries is poured equally into two bowls, that means that half of 1/6 is in each bowl.

    So, 1/6 * 1/2

    1/6 * 1/2

For fraction multiplication, multiply the numerators and then multiply the denominators to get

    1*1/6*2=

    1/12

    This fraction cannot be reduced.

    b. 6 ounces is 1/12

To get the ounces of full container we must know how much is 12/12

    If 1/12 is 6 ounces

    So 12/12 is (12/12 x 6) / 1/6

    = (12/12 x 6) / 1/6 = (1 x 6) / 1/6 = 6 / 1/6 =

Dividing two fractions is the same as multiplying the first fraction by the reciprocal (inverse) of the second fraction.

Take the reciprocal of the second fraction by flipping the numerator and denominator and changing the operation to multiplication. Then the equation becomes

    6/1*6/1=?

For fraction multiplication, multiply the numerators and then multiply the denominators to get

    6*6/1*1=36/1

    c. First we have to know how much is the remaining blueberries. We use 1/6 so, the remaining is 5/6

Now we are using 1/5 of 5/6 of 36 ounces

We have to multiple the 3 terms to get the answer

    1/5 x 5/6 x 36/1=

For fraction multiplication, multiply the numerators and then multiply the denominators to get

    (1x5x36) / (5x6x1) = 180/30=6 ounces
