    The hypotenuse is the 22 foot ladder. the height is 18 foot wall.

    If we want the angle by ground and ladder then the wall is opposite the angle. So so we have opposite and hypotenuse which is some. so:

    sin (a) = opposite/hypotenuse

    sin (a) = 18/22

    a = cos^-1 (8/11)

    a = 43.3
