    Slope = rise / run

    slope = 1/20

    rise = 6

    now sub

    1/20 = 6 / run (r) ... now u cross multiply because this is a proportion

    (1) (r) = (6) (20)

    r = 120 <==the run

    * * and take notice ... proportions are nothing but equivalent fractions

    1/20 = 6/120
